Greek yogurt dip with maple and cinnamon

This is a great healthy dessert option, full of fall flavors. It stirs together in seconds, leaving you time to cut up lots of lovely fruit to go along with it.  You can serve it as an after-school snack or finger-food at a party.

This recipe calls for whole-fat yogurt, even though medical professionals have been conditioning us to reach for low- or non-fat choices for the last 40 years.

More recently, studies have found that a natural substance in dairy fat may reduce the risk of type-2 diabetes.  Additionally, the consumption of low-fat dairy foods may contribute to failure to ovulate in women and cause higher incidences of acne in teenage boys.

Dr. Weil, a Harvard-educated medical doctor, recommends consuming high-quality, organic dairy products in moderation.

Start going back to whole-fat dairy with a dollop of this delicious dip.
